One the classics from Motor Boating’s Art Department. I too have known the desire to make-out with the sea. When this magazine came out in 1916, the USPS refused to deliver it because it was so risque. I think the painting is is by G.C. Pearce, a frequent illustrator for MB, but I am not sure.
